Not really true. They can work at Mcdonalds if they want. Legalize it and put these pimps out of business. Most prostitutes in countries with legalized prostitution are normal girls, not drug addicts. People are so up tight in this country, so I doubt you will ever see much legalized hooking in the US. |

| Very sad. We should be adopting the nordic model, where buying sex is criminalized but not selling it (but pimps are criminalized). Most civilized nations recognize this as the best option. Unfortunately we will see many brothels pop up, as in Nevada, and many trafficked women brought in. |

| I would be OK in decriminalizing it if we were a larger geographical zone. As it is, we are a tiny city and johns will be pouring in from MD , VA and further. Some of our stressed neighborhoods will face further nuisance. The council will also feel less obligation to be a business attractive city and get these women less soulless jobs, and continue their dumb pursuits like the outsized paid family leave (i'm for paid family leave/just not the insane way they've structured it) that again covers MD and VA and will drive business from our city. Grosso is such a millennial weirdo. Can we have some adults on the Council please? |

A valid proposition, but I would rather he focus on other things, like education, fighting generational poverty, integrating immigrants efficiently, investing in anti-trafficking efforts. Like PP said, a tiny locale with legal prostitution will bring us the wrong sort of attention. |

No please don't have Grosso focus on education. The school remodernization budget is about $900M over what was originally proposed. Just have him do nothing.
