I LOVED Kelly’s response. And, I agree that Gutierrez is a disgrace.

This is what Gutierrez said. It is a reprehensible statement.

In a statement last Tuesday, Gutierrez said Kelly “has no honor and should be drummed out of the White House along with the white supremacists and those enabling the President’s actions by ‘just following orders.’”

I particularly liked this part of Kelly’s response:

“Every DOJ and DHS lawyer says DACA is unconstitutional. Every other legal scholar – right and left – says the same thing. Trump didn’t end DACA, the law did. That said, I worked and succeeded to give the congress another six months to do something. I am not confident,” he said.

I also liked when he said: "As my blessed mother used to say ‘empty barrels make the most noise.’”

Remind me.... How long has Luis Gutierrez worn the uniform of a US Marine?

Amen. Bannon was right on target about the swamp. McConnell is part of the problem. Do nothing congressman like Gutierrez is part of the problem. We used to have leaders. Now we have unethical snakes.

Yes, Kelly has shown more than once that he doesn't understand that Congress is our government. He seems to think that being a general is more powerful than being a congressperson. That's not the military I know.

He's also not a very good lawyer.

When a do-nothing Congressman says that a decorated General “has no honor” and is “a disgrace to the uniform,” I question how much he knows about wearing the uniform, having never served. Obviously, he knows very little.

Guiterrez does not realize that we are a country of laws. That is one of the things that makes us different. Yes, we also are a country of compassion--but, the laws generally reflect that. Obama encouraged lots of kids to make a very dangerous trip in order to be a dreamer. For some, it has worked out well. For others, they brought their problems with them.

We cannot change the laws just because we think it is a bad law. We must change it with votes. Obama's law was illegal--and he even said so.

There has been a lot of misinterpretation of DACA. The media in this country and others has misinterpreted it. Read it before you continue.
