Kelly slams do nothing Congressman...calls him an empty barrel

The thing about the unaccompanied minors is that they are not eligible for DACA. But their mistake does not mean that DACA is unconstitutional, and I don't think it is. Others do. Disagreement among lawyers doesn't mean that something is unconstitutional, although it does mean that it's controversial.

But, they came because of DACA. You don't remember that? All those kids coming across the border and being shipped to relatives?

And, Obama himself said it was unconstitutional. It's up to Congress. He knew that, and I think you do, as well.

Yes, they came because of DACA. Because of a deliberate misunderstanding of it. They're not eligible for it and never will be.

The EO was carefully drafted to be constitutional. It's not the Dream Act. Read it.

Someone requested a link earlier to the decree and settlement that the US Government had with the Trump's for their racist housing practices

He's also not a very good lawyer.

Chances are you've never served or know the military at all.

Kelly is great and calling out ando nithing political loser like Gutierrez had to be done.

But then Kelly lies and tries to cover for Trump, putting his reputation in the toilet. If Kelly was still any kind of leader he would have had Trump address the families issues with the call and add a little humility in it. Instead Kelly came out with excuses for the man he serves like some kind of helicopter parent. Never seen that in the military but guess it’s changed under Trump. What good did Kelly do anyway since Trump followed it up with a tweet calling a gold-star family and a congresswomen liars, that’s a nice betrayal of those buried at Arlington.

Wow, Kelly sure likes that "empty barrel" term. I wonder if he ascribes it to every member of Congress.

It's looking more and more like the real empty barrel is Kelly himself.

It is a good description to those who speak out without knowing what the hell they are talking about. Perfect description for Frederica Wilson.

I think Kelly needs to stay home and take care of his and his familiy's grief. No need for him to be put into the spotlight.

Kelly either misremembered or lied about what Wilson said. His insults lose a bit when they're wrong.

Or.... Wilson actually said it but claims she didn’t.
That is more likely.

Kelly, with a recent history at DHS of not stating the truth, who works for Trump, the most absurd liar in government history, is believable to you? If you say so.

Really? She was in the car, heard the phone call that the widow put on speaker phone, witnessed its aftermath (a widow in tears who said "He didn't even know his name."). She absolutely knows what she is talking about and Sgt Johnson's aunt (who raised him as her own son) confirmed her account. Neither Kelly nor Trump witnessed the aftermath of the call, how would they know how it affected the soldier's widow?

Good for General Kelly. Gutierrez is a disgrace

Kelly called Rep Wilson of FL an empty barrel too.

Yep -- could be freudian. He's got empty barrels on the brain because he sees more and more every day that he is becoming one.

I suspect that his walk through Arlington was about how much more he was willing to compromise himself to stay in the White House -- where he still feels he could serve some noble purpose. I also suspect Trump read him the riot act and much of it turned up in Kelly's comments to the press.
