at a wedding today i met my cousins cousin. I'm 24 and he's 26. he's my dads sisters husbands sisters kid. i'm related to my cousin that's getting married from his moms side, and he's related to the cousin that's getting married on the dads side. we only started talking, he was a little flirty and that's it. but later that night a different cousin pulled me aside and said you better not let anything happen between you two because it's basically incest.
Would you date a cousins cousin? Do you think it's incest? |
| Your other cousin is an idiot. You're not related at all. |
| No it's not incest. He isn't your cousin. You aren't blood relatives. It's fine. |
| The other cousin is whack and does not understand what invest is. Why are these people so clueless? |
+1 |
| ^ "invest" = "incest" |
| It's totally fine. I had a brief flight with my cousin's cousin years ago - he was a super hot relatively famous artist and it was fun! He was much older than me though and wasn't going to end up being serious which was fine with me. |
| I banged my cousins cousin. |
| Incest applies only to parents, siblings and children, not further removed relatives like cousins. |
| 'A different cousin' is an idiot. Does this person always start drama? Hope they're not telling everyone you were committing incest at a wedding. That's a family story people won't forget. |
| You aren't related |
|
A college roommate ended up dating his sister's husband's sister. (They met at the wedding) It was a little weird or unusual, but no one called it incest (which of course it wasn't)
A nonblood cousin is not even close to being a problem |
| Your cousin who told you that might well be the product of incest he's so dumb. |
| Kissing cousins isn't a big deal and kissing a cousins cousin is not even a relation. |
|
You are completely legally and morally free to date your cousins cousin.
Now, it COULD get awkward at future family events, if you date this "cousin's cousin" and then have an ugly breakup. Like when your cousin throws a birthday party, baptism party, etc. for her child and invites all her cousins...you'd run into him there... |
