She was on her way to help pack care packages for military families.

So you’re saying the FLOTUS shouldn’t be in professional dress at work? I wouldn’t even wear that outfit to my job and it’s nowhere near as important as hers. |
| Well aren’t you special, here’s a gold star.⭐️ |
|
I’m not sure whether to blame her or her advisers for the multiple faux pas. Here we go again, another blunder. Clothes fit for mucking pigs and high heel boots?
I think it must be intentional. It’s inappropriate, which is insulting to the audience. This must be her own doing. The banana dress, this, they must be her way of saying “I hate what you are making me do”. |
Well that makes a huge difference. Although I think that’s a scheduling blunder to make the thank you to staff so close in time to the packing boxes — it looks a little like she just swung by, not like it was a planned thank you to staff. And I think putting a long jacket over the outfit instead of the shirt jacket would have taken 30 seconds and looked more appropriate. |
She's not wearing pants!! I was just about to say it looks like she put on tights and forgot her skirt. |
As another PP pointed out, she was on her way to help with care packages for military families. It’ll be ok, really. |
There you are! I was just reading about you in another thread. Too funny. |
Of course she’s wearing pants. They are slim cut, not leggings and not tights. |
Right?! Geez. Didn't they get the boots wrong? They're showing over-the-knee boots, while hers stop at the knee. |
I think they're leather leggings and she's worn similar styles before. I like it. Looks comfy and casual without looking slovenly like her counterpart in the Naval Observatory. |
+1 I noticed that too. I like the ones she’s wearing a lot better than the ones they (incorrectly) sourced. |
If you’re talking about SLOTUS, she has never once looked “slovenly”. How totally ridiculous. |
