Apparently Trump did not share your opinion since he was working on a $1 Trillion infrastructure plan in June of 2020, during the Covid recovery period and in advance of the November 2020 elections, as a way of boosting the economy and jump-starting employment. https://www.reuters.com/article/business/trump-team-prepares-1-trillion-infrastructure-plan-to-spur-economy-idUSKBN23N0D6/ |
Trump, Biden, and GWB are/were all relatively unpopular presidents with sub-par leadership skills so maybe a drink every now and then would have been good for them. |
| She isn't fit to lead, but you're right, she's better than the alternative. Democrats are just setting themselves up for a harder challenge in 4 years of she wins though. |
It was NOT only 18 minutes. I watched the whole thing and it was longer than that, including commercials. Stop spreading lies. |
Meant to say...not including commercials. |
Don't waste your time. All those bots know are lies, lies, and more lies. I wonder how much money they get per lie. It must be a lot because they spew as many lies as their lord and master. |
She came into the Vance interview with stacks of receipts trying to fact check him in real time. She interrupted he on every answer. And had a scowl on her face the entire time. She acted like a real . . . journalist. Where was that person yesterday? |
When do they ever release full transcripts of TV interviews? 😂 |
|
I saw the interview. It was uneventful, which is a win for Harris-Walz.
I see a lot of misinformation and snark from maga republicans online. They are going much harder on her than they allow on Trump. Trump seems resentful and belligerent and rude in his interviews (like at the Black journalist conf) or he just ignores reality and lies. Punctuated by weird segues about wind, birds and hannibal lector. Harris (and Walz's small bit) both did much better than any of Trump's ridiculous interviews. Harris and Walz were sane and empathetic. |

I think Walz was not needed and actually a distraction.
He had the biggest gaffe of the whole interview with the grammar comment immediately headlined by CNN. She needs more confidence if she wants to be POTUS. She should’ve handled that interview alone |
See for example 18:08. |
All it did was take away a talking point about not doing interviews with the media. However, the line "my values haven't changed" was not the best way of explaining her change in policy positions. |
The grammar comment was very unfortunate and not a good explanation. It's particularly bad because he was a widely-recognized English teacher in China. A better explanation would have been that Walz routinely trained with weapons of war - like any soldier, sailor, airman, marine, or guardian. He could even have cited the types of "weapons of war" he trained with, how often, and perhaps even any marksman medals he earned (if any). |
Somehow that bad grammar found itself on his Congressional challenge coin a decade later. Hmmmm |
It’s concerning that CNN allows a lady to moderate a presidential debate if her husband tried to discredit damming evidence of one of the participants that was 100% true. |
