I wasn't impressed. He fired up his base, for sure.
But, did he convince the undecided? Probably not.
He threatened the Supreme Court. He took zero responsibility for the border crisis he caused. He was angry and divisive. Instead of an "I feel your pain" speech, he cast blame and didn't acknowledge that the American people are not thriving under his administration.
He ran the first time on bringing civility and decorum back to the WH. He said he was a uniter.
He has done none of that. And, last night he doubled down on hate. He was neither civil nor uniting. The US and the world are in a worse place than when he took office.
Voters who want unity were not impressed.
The good thing is that the Democrats will be less likely to want to replace him at the convention after last night.
That is good for Trump.
