Agree with this. But it's his MO and she should have known better. He love bombs, is really into the relationship for 1-2 years, then is done. She thought she was special, but no. The only reason he lasted as long as he did with Jen G was because of her determination and the kids, but he looked miserable right around the two-year mark, like clockwork. He's a mess and needs to learn how to be an adult functioning human being in a real relationship, not some fantasy in his head. He and J Lo have that in common.

There was an article about J Lo on her Super Bowl Halftime, Oscars buzz for Hustlers, Inaugurarion performance and her having her peak as an actress and performer at age 50. The journalist asked other celebrities for quotes /stories on Jennifer and Ben provided a complimentary quote. She thanked him via email and then they decided to meet after her breakup in April . That was that.

How does a hookup mean love bombing? They dated a year before he proposed. That isn’t love bombing.

He thought she was finally his equal after the Hustlers buzz but JLo is still not a Hollywood A list actress darling .

Okay i definitely agree with you about him thinking things were going to be different after the hustler's hype. A lot of people thought her career was going to to a new and more respectable direction. But I also think he love bombed her and told her exactly what she wanted to hear without necessarily meaning it. He always told her he wasn't going anywhere and got it engraved on wedding ring.

The interesting part is she grew up on a very normal family. Her parents lived in the good part of Bronx. Her and sister both attended private school. Her sister when I lived in NYC was the weather person on TV in NY. So her sister is also on TV.

Her family were always US Citizens. She was born in the US and her background is Puerto Rician so no immigration as they were always US Citizens. She also did not know Spanish at all as why would she as she lived in grew up NY. She learned spanish as an adult to put out a spanish album and she was raised Catholic.

She had a pretty normal life up to becoming a Famous Adult.

Now we are 20 years later. She is worth more than double what he and JGarner are worth. Stop with your fantasies. Stop taking credit away from minority women. You can fawn over "intellectual" Ben Affleck all you want. He is a pseudo-intellectual (maybe more book smart than JLo but that is not saying much) who has been in the business for most of his life. Yes, he absorbed some lessons and produced one good movie. However, the way people are fawning over him is ridiculous. He is an addict.

Marc Anthony is professionally accomplished. And she's dated Alex Rodrigues, Drake, Ben, and P. Diddy. Yes, most of these guys have serious issues but they are all very professionally accomplished and most are pretty good looking.

She has a thing for dancers and has had several relationships with them. I actually think this reflects a good instinct -- the desire to be with someone who shares a passion for music and dance, is a fundamentally artistic person. But you can't be JLo and date some regular guy dancer/choreographer. It won't work out. Not just because she's famous but because she's an exhibitionist and loves the limelight -- a mortal is not going to survive in that environment. But this also torpedos her relationship with celebs.

I think she's not really built for stable relationships but is a romantic and doesn't like being alone either.

Aside from her oversharing, the quality of her film work has drastically declined. Nothing but absolute dreck since Hustlers (which was not exactly a great film, just a role that really suited her). If I had her money, I would turn down these terrible scripts. Ben may not deserve fawning over, but he's much higher ranked on The Hollywood totem pole and she knows it. He's more selective about projects than she is, for sure.
