Specially the 2007/2006

They are almost done with the process. Worse for the 08s and 09s.....

ID sessions across NOVA about to be packed. If you're a bench player...this is tough news.
Can't wait to hear the coaching slate.
Who really is in control of this union?

Fairfax Virginia Union’s inaugural ECNL National League season will kick off this fall for the 2024-2025 seasonal year for both boys' and girls' teams from U13 to U19.

They are going from 2 ECNL-NL teams (Brave and VA Union) to one (Fairfax VA Union). A bunch of former ECNL-NL kids will have to try and get recruited from GA or ECNL-RL, which is a lot tougher than getting recruited from ECNL-NL.

Anonymous wrote:Mea culpa from this address as well. Suprised that ECNL would just eliminate a team, but this does make sense to consolidate some of the talent in the area. There were just too many ECNL clubs in a small geographic area.

Moves like this and forcing out clubs on the boys side for not having their first teams in (eg PDA, Delco) is how ECNL will blow themselves up over the next 5-10 years.

well is official folks..... in Brave and Mclean sites.

Always though a MYS and VYS merger made sense given the geography. VYS would develop the ulittles only to see them leave for MYS at older age groups.

I don't see how BRYC fits in this. VYS could've just broken off from Brave to form a partnership with MYS. I imagine all practices will be in tysons area (midpoint). Not ideal for BRYC families

This year: 5 ECNL + 1 GA. Next year: 4 ECNL + 3 GA. It’s not going to relegate kids, just re-shuffle and help the GA.

Coach Adam and TSJ folks should go play lotto tonight. They were dead in the water and the dummies at ECNL just revived their program for them! AB for the win!

VYS and MYS will get their ECNL-RL teams back to relevancy

Above poster is probably right. GA will probably absorb the former BRAVE/Union girls who don't have spots.

Whoever said the logo would look like West Ham was very close

Why is ECNL-RL harder than ECNL?

FCV would be the last GA program to look at. At least SYC and Rev have coaches and facilities.

All the speculation...all incorrect.
