Fairfax Virginia soccer clubs unite to advance youth development and competition.
Braddock Road Youth Club (BRYC), McLean Youth Soccer Club (MYSC), and Vienna Youth Soccer (VYS) are the founding clubs in launching a new club, Fairfax Virginia Union. The new club will be equally governed by the founding clubs. Fairfax Virginia Union’s inaugural ECNL National League season will kick off this fall for the 2024-2025 seasonal year for both boys' and girls' teams from U13 to U19. Fairfax BRAVE and Virginia Union will finish their spring seasons, including Nationals for the teams that qualify. Each club, BRYC, MYS, and VYS all have a role to play in both the player and coach pathway. Each will continue to independently operate all of their current programs, including recreational, travel (ECNL Regional League and NCSL), and adult. The continued success of each club will ensure a strong and growing pipeline of talented players in the years to come. It is important to recognize that Northern Virginia has a rich history of success at all levels across many clubs. This union is just the beginning of further collaboration led by Fairfax Virginia Union to continue this history. In the coming days, we will launch our website, coaching slate, registration for ID Sessions, and FAQs. Three Clubs ONE UNION |

Apologies to the OP. Imagine doing this in the middle of a uniform cycle though. Smh. |
Sounds like a labor union name. Why they feel the need to incorporate everyone's names into a brand is beyond me. Why not just keep VA union. Hopefully they get rid of that ugly orange and green. |
Mea culpa from this address as well. Suprised that ECNL would just eliminate a team, but this does make sense to consolidate some of the talent in the area. There were just too many ECNL clubs in a small geographic area. |
For once, an OP was not lying. Just got the email, as well. |
That's a win for SYC and GA unless any of those players can withstand a commute to Loudoun if they're looking for a national program. |
Tough break for those older BRAVE and UNION kids who are losing their ECNL platform going into their recruiting years. |
Specially the 2007/2006 |

Just the beginning of further collaboration? Please, no more collabs. Having these competing clubs collab hasn't made things better. |
