From the side pics she looks great and I agree she looks good in the shade of brown. From head on she looks about 500 pounds bigger than she actually is. |
Or part of a karate outfit |

She has no feet! And isn't it cold there? Didn't they just have a bunch of snow? Why would you wear a cropped jacket showing skin when it's cold and there's snow? Since she always does this as a fashion "spread" in instagram, here's the other two shots. Plus I wanted to zero in on the missing feet. (ok, there's a sliver of a pointy toe but let's just pretend it's part of the pants.
And the jacket REALLY sticks out:

I thought Ivanka had reduced her implants but they look huge in that cropped jacket.

She's beautiful and in great shape but that head on shot is not flattering. It's the cut of the jacket combined with the picture angle. |
I think it would work better with a pair of matchstick jeans in a very dark denim. Keep everything else (stilettos, turtleneck, jacket) but I think the reason it's looking frumpy from the front is because the skirt cuts her off at the knees. Pants would create a long column to counterbalance the volume in the jacket. I kind of like the idea of juxtaposing the jacket with something more refined for contrast, but I don't think it's working and the proportions are off. |
Trump dressing like Momdani lmao

That was just four days ago. They met last week? https://www.ndtv.com/lifestyle/is-donald-trump-taking-style-tips-from-zohran-mamdani-internet-reacts-to-us-presidents-viral-winter-look-9686206 |
I'm that person. I wear gloves every day of the winter and have quite a few pair. Every year I wear out a pair and loose a pair or two. Well, not both; just one. I do have one set of long gloves and have had them for awhile so I guess y'alls point is well made. |
I think maybe Mamdani did it better? 😂🤣😂 |
Very unflattering outfit. |

Interestingly, very pointy-toed shoes usually appear when elites are feeling confident and income inequality is rising and during periods of cultural exuberance before major conflicts (religious wars, political instability). Pointy toes were a thing back during the early 2000s tech bubble (George W Bush administration) and the first Trump administration.
Rising Income Inequality - Pointed shoes often flourish when elites want to visually differentiate themselves. Social Tension or Transitional Times - Big pointy-shoe moments appear before wars (1300s, 1500s, 1900s) and before major financial crises (2000s) A broader shift to “hard-edged” aesthetics often accompanies geopolitical tension, technological disruption and a desire for strong silhouettes. Historically, extreme fashion silhouettes have often preceded economic contractions—because they appear near the emotional peak of a cycle. There you go - took a history of fashion class when I was in grad school for international economics. |
