I would ask why she’s wearing a coat indoors but it seems the thing to do.

More indoor coats. She, for sure, wanted more than one child. She's so happy here.

She looks lovely in that winter white coat, as well as the two black dresses recently posted.

Only Melania could pull off that terrible midi length.

It is a nice dress I guess but to me looks like something you would wear to a babushka’s funeral. The one she wore to the Kennedy center award is black but looks a lot more modern and fresh.

Midi length has been fashionable for a few years now and if anyone can pull it - it's her. And Kate Middleton.

It’s not the length giving babushka funeral to me, it’s the whole effect of the dress including the old lady mesh at the top.

It's Valentino; why babushka, why not...mob-widow?!

The Trump Women and their Fashion Mishaps

Enough with drooling over Melania looking incredible in coats. And what, pray tell, does she wear under them?

For a trip down memory lane, this is a fun read: https://slate.com/human-interest/2018/04/why-melania-trump-rarely-uses-sleeves-as-they-were-intended-a-few-theories.html

"To the first lady, sleeves are useless. Arms are best glued to the torso under the body of a coat, not maneuvered into tubes to be flailed about or, heaven forbid, used."

However, the article hints at a reason she wears the coats as coats rather than as capes: "But the best explanation for Trump’s sleeveless styling came in February, when she and Donald boarded Marine One on their way to Ohio.* The president tried to grab her hand, but only got a hold of her sleeve, then made an awkward show of moving to her other side. In this scenario, Trump’s empty sleeve functioned as a safety buffer. When your arms aren’t where they’re supposed to be, it’s a lot harder for other people to find them." (there's a link to a hilarious twitter video worth watching)

But now she has to be able to hold him up, so no more cape-coats.

Love her coats! Especially the winter white.

What's with the backwards leaning posture? It would be funny to see her and Trump in profile side by side, him leaning forward and her leaning back.

The way she’s standing makes her look like she’s pregnant again. Wouldn’t totally surprise me. I like the coat.

I like both the black dresses. I really think it’s interesting that she’s gojng so much more classic, basic this administration. She’s basically always in neutrals with classic cuts, except for the yellow thing in the UK which was clearly planned as part of a tacit support for Ukraine. It’s just very different from first administration. I don’t know if she’s having middle aged fashion ennui, or if she’s trying to avoid the spotlight, or just has a different personal stylist, or what. She looks good and I don’t fault her for gojng classic.

She is the happiest around the children. She will be a great grandmother.

It's winter?

It's not always winter.

Plus it's FALL for another few weeks.

Isn't her baby only like five or six months old?

I still do not understand why they do not simply let her visit daycares and schools all day every day and hold hands with children and read them stories and be happy. Her popularity would go so high. I don’t even like this woman one iota but it’s such an obvious win for everybody.

Oh I guess just under 7 months. I was thinking older. My mom was always pregnant again within 7 months but that’s less common now. That’s the problem with this style of coat though — if the belt is riding high and you’re standing a little off, it gives maternity vibes. But I do like the coat.
