so its okay for a parent not to care if their kid is playing in level 2 soccer at GA? oh please. if they care about development that would mean playing with and against the best players, giving them the most/best opportunities to be seen by colleges seems etc. etc. more like parent dereliction.

“Playing against the best players”
- first you have to be on the field to play the best players for a significant amount of time to develop
- Second, aside from ECNL top 2 or 3 teams, there are no best players.

Unless you are a top player in those top teams, forget it.

It’s not the GA fault too girls clubs want to play ECNL. All they can do is hope the clubs they oversee are going to develop players.

FVU is advertising additional girls trials by invite. Does this mean their teams are not full or they are trying to capture Maryland kids. I didn't see the same for boys.

Sorry, doesn’t hurt. What I said was most kids on TOP teams make a college roster, which is what you said. Although I admit that you did qualify with hit the field…. Which would be valid, but most kids on the top team, whether or not they are starters make a team. No? Tell me your stats.

FVU is the example of a useless ecnl club aside from their 12s ( take it with a grain of salt) and 13s teams.

oh it happened. GA let the club know the month or 2 before I believe. The club kept it quiet and sought counsel trying to change it so they wouldn't have to let members know cause how embarrassing it would have been seeing how they only been in for a year. They did not inform the club members until a few days before tryouts as it looks like they were definitely getting dropped. Everyone on GA teams received an email in playmetrics of what was going on 3 days before tryouts. don't know all the background and how they got back in. they have no travel partner that they know of cause their travel team partner requested to be moved down to aspire. Palm Beach United/Gardens has been struggling for years and with Team Boca moving up from RL to ECNL down the street, they will pull the few top players Palm Beach even has. northern teams Tophat etc from GA/Ala did not/refused to come down and play Space Coast or PBG at home this season so those 2 teams were cheated out of 4 games as that would have been 3 weekend travels to Florida. what was the turning point for GA to let Space Coast back in a few days before tryouts, don't know yet. as far as we know the southeast conference only has 9 teams right now.maybe they added another team and it hasn't been announced. if not, gonna be interesting to see the schedule
