How often during the day do you change your pad/tampon?

I'd be walking around with bloody pants if I only changed 2x a day! On my heaviest days (days 2&3) I change 5 or 6 times, lighter days 3 or 4. |

Seriously? Every 8 hours is a MINIMUM, and if I did that, I'd be covered in blood.
On heavy flow days, I was changing supers every 2-3 hours. So freaking glad I switched to the cup. I started my period away from home today, and didn't have my cup with me, and I was literally disgusted that I had to use a tampon. I got that shit out of me ASAP, |

Every hour before I got Mirena IUD.
When I was on the pill, I hardly bled. I could easily go 8 hours. Not so after I went off it. |

Ummm, you'd be dead if you only changed your tampon 2x a day.
I use a diva cup now, but before that I was changing tampons every 2-3 hours. And I wore a pantyliner just in case. |

| Diva cup and I only have to change it once a day (in the shower). Totally safe. Been using the Diva Cup for 12 years, not "crunchy" in any other area of my life - best thing ever. |

| Mine are super light (31, no kids). I still change them 5-6 times on heavier days which isn't really needed but I still do it and 3-4 on lighter days. |
