How often during the day do you change your pad/tampon?

Yeah, sounds gross to me.

Those of you saying you would be dead if you only changed it 2x - TSS was with a specific brand of tampon that is no longer on the market. The warning is only there to protect the companies. No more risk of TSS.
I typically change 2-3. On the pill so very light flow.

I wash it in the morning and evening at home. If I do need to change it once at work (on the kind of day I would have been switching out tampons every 1-2 hours), I just empty it, wipe it with a tissue and put it back in. Admittedly the first few times I did it my hands got messy but then I got the hang of it and it's not an issue at all. Practice at home first. It's life changing.

I change my tampon every 8 hrs on the 1st 3 days, with rare exceptions. Last day or 2 just wear a pantyliner.

Been doing this for 20 years. One kid. Not dead yet!

Have you tried tampax ultra? They were a life changer for me! I still leak and wear a pad but the flooding is gone.

I bring a minipack of wet wipes into the stall with me for wiping the cup and then my hands afterwards. I dispose of them in the tampon/pad trash bin in the stall. It's only 1-2 days per cycle that I need to empty the cup mid-workday.
