How often during the day do you change your pad/tampon?

A few times a day. I once had a day when I was insanely busy at work, and only changed my tampon once, and it was incredibly gross.

Heavy days - every 2 to 3 hours, super size tampon, and every time I poop. Sometimes I poop more than once per day.

post kids, I must change every 2 hours or so on heavy dates. Plus, they seem to pop out anyway when I pee (that is also post kids, ugh).

Curious about this diva cup. I'm tired of the tampons.

I'm in my very early 40s. I only change it 2 or maybe 3 times a day. And I've never had a problem. My flow is pretty light and has been for the last few years.

Super plus, two tampons at a time, I change them every hour for the first two days. For the next 4 days, I could wear one tampon for an entire day. Then a couple of days later, I spot for two days.

During the heavy flow days I change it every hour and a half. Total pain in the ass waking throughout the night.

I bought the Lunette brand, and it has been a life changer for me. On a heavy day, I empty it 4 times. On a light day, only twice. This means I don't even have to fuss with it at work at all! And I can sleep through the night.

Heavy days - 5/6 times a day plus 1/2 times overnight (1-2 nights)

Light days - usually twice

Should probably be another thread, but how does one change a diva cup? I always imagined emerging from the stall at work, with bloody hands, furtively trying to sink the thing in the sink, only to slink back into a stall to shove it back in...

Yeah, sounds gross to me.

Those of you saying you would be dead if you only changed it 2x - TSS was with a specific brand of tampon that is no longer on the market. The warning is only there to protect the companies. No more risk of TSS.
I typically change 2-3. On the pill so very light flow.

I wear a "regular" pad and change twice a day -- basically, same pad for the work day and change when I get home. And change again for sleep,so that's 3 in 24 hours.

I tried those cloth pads but they were really hard to clean. I never wear tampons.
