I like the pattern for a couch or a rug or tablecloth or wall hanging but not as clothing. It's overwhelming. She isn't wearing the dress, the dress is wearing her. If the material had been less stiff or less boldly colored, it would be completely different. Also, she's either got shoulder pads in it or it's too wide and starched in the shoulders - as well as the rest of it.

Oh definitely. Michelle’s thread is full of people like me who love her and loved her looks in the White House but are confused and bewildered by some of her post White House choices. She looked smashing today, though - also not a conservative choice.
