How often do you think about sex? Men vs. women

As a woman, I'm curious how often the men out there think about sex and how it compares to women. It varies for me but the time I think about sex the most is around ovulation. It becomes hard to focus during that time because I think about sex constantly.

There was a study done...men think about sex 19 times a day, women 10.

They also found men think about food more often than women.

I think if they expanded the study they would find men think about a lot of useless shit and don't think about important shot most of the time. Women are too busy being responsible for everything to think about useless shit.

Man, age 45: Probably, at a minimum, once an hour. But I'm not sure how to count occasions -- if I'm walking down the street, there could be half a dozen women I see where I'd spend a second or two thinking about sexually. But that wouldn't take up much of my time. Is that 6 times? Other times, I could be focused for quite awhile on a single sexual thought.

It's chemical. Dudes have a ton more testosterone in their system. You'll see women on these threads talk about hitting perimenopause and their libido go through the roof -- suddenly they understand why guys think about sex so often.

Man here. I think about sex every time I see a woman who looks "do-able"
In other words, about every 30 minutes.

Dw here.

Several times a day. More if I know it's a night when sex is likely (I work nights 4 days a week and sometimes sex doesn't happen those nights but almost always happens the nights I'm off)

I also don't know how to count. Sexual thoughts cross my mind all the damn time. But how often do I fantasize for a minute or more? That's probably 10 times per day. Or 20. Or 69. Shit, I don't know.

Totally dependent on how busy I am. If I'm really busy it's only a few times a day. If not, a ton. While I like to be busy it has its downside.

I'm a woman. I think about sex and food all the damn time. I prefer that to thinking about what needs to be done. Thinking about chores is worse than doing chores. I think about sex while I'm doing the dishes to try to take my mind off all the food I'm trying not to eat while I'm in the kitchen.

Male, 41 here and this is me exactly. When I am busy at work, I think about sex only a couple times a day. When I am at rest, I think about sex often. If I haven't had sex in a couple days, I think about sex several times an hour. If I haven't had it in a week, it's obsessive - I desire any female that moves.

All honesty, women would be shocked how often men think about sex. They would applaud us for being relatively faithful.

Female, 46 here. This is also true for me. I get sex thoughts more when I have free time and I can let my mind wander. Or the meeting is boring and I can just fantasize about that guy over there ....

No it's not. The study shows men sit around and just think of useless shit all day. They can be asked how often they think of football and it will be 19 and women will say 10.

Woman here. Probably at least five times a day.

Female here- late 30s. It depends. I have gone for significant periods, especially after having a baby, without thinking about sex much at all. Now I think about it occasionally, but definitely not all the time. I tend to have responsive desire though.
