Interesting about the study: it was done on college kids. I am not surprised college men think about sex only 2x as much as college women. A really interesting study would be the rate that fathers vs. mothers think about sex, especially with kids around. In my house, the ratio would be 10x as many for dad. |
I agree. But if the father actually did everything the mom did, they might even out. Not chores, but the planning. Plan the grocery list, plan the birthday party, plan the weekend event, plan the vacation, stuff that actually requires thought. Keep up the calendar. |
Blah blah blah. My DH does that stuff (well, some of it). I agree that women do more, but what the hey, this was off topic and not about why you think about sex X number of times a day (x#x/day) but just how many. |
Men are always ovulating (unless they just released). When you are most turned on during your cycle, that is average for a man. |
Blah.Blah.Blah.... read the study, yes, women think about more important things all day, therefore they think about sex, food, etc less. It's not biology it is situational. |
I think about money and vacations more. Some of you need to re-prioritize your lives! |
I like sex and money much more than vacations! |

-45 y.o. man with a decent sex life at home |
Today I learned that birthday party planning is more important than food and sex. |
Most college kids are still pea brains. Take years to mature and understand what's really important in life. More wasted $$ probably by liberals. |
Time to find a bf or new husband. |
Really? Have you been on DCUM for long? There's a lot of "useless shit" thinking here. |
man here....non stop...... |
5 or 6 times a day. I'm a woman in my early 50s. |
Early 40s female here. I think about it fairly often around my period and ovulation. My sex drive is definitely closely connected to my cycle. I can then go for two weeks without a single sex thought.
