The House will certainly vote to impeach. I count four Republicans who will vote to convict and I’m sure that number will grow.


There are no GOP senators up for 2020 who will support the President on this, unless they want to lose their seat.

Release Wednesday means gathered Monday and Tuesday.

Released today means gathered Tuesday and Wednesday.

I am guessing the same questions released next week will be in the 55% range, given the fast paced news.

Approve of Congress starting impeachment proceedings? (Tuesday)

43% approve, 43% disapprove.

When told details about the Ukraine withholding of aid + phone call, (Wednesday) the numbers move to:

44% approve, 41% disapprove

Imagine what it will be when people are polled after today's proceedings, or after the Whistleblower, assuming they aren't assasinated, testifies.

Calling out corruption/bribery/extortion for 3 years is not having egg on one's face, even if it takes time for the prime instigator to face charges or be impeached.
