Comey is out!

Did you read the 35 page dossier on Trump. There's lots of smoke, but no proof yet.

Trump has anhistory of destroying evidence when he's sued. Google it. He's up to hisnoldnyricks, refusing to comply with subpoenas, simply refusing to tuen ovwr documents, etc. classic Trump.

He will slip up and then someone, maybe the NY AG, will get him, and he'll spend the rest ofnhis life in jail.

He's already slipped up. He revealed his allegiance to Russia way too soon. He surrounded himself with hubris- and greed-laden dummies who could get a job done but couldn't tend to the details that would cover their tracks. He failed to realize, until he was in office, that there are checks on presidential power. And he never anticipated just how many people could stick their noses into what he thought was a tight circle.

Someone grabbed hold of one of those super long ties that he refuses to pin down and they're yanking on it, hard. He thought being president would mean he could pull it back into his control, but that's not turning out to the way he thought it would. He's only pulling the noose tighter.

Good article - https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/05/10/us/politics/how-trump-decided-to-fire-james-comey.html?_r=0&referer=https://t.co/mffi3BTWPB?amp=1

Summary: Trump fired Comey because Comey's first priority wasn't loyalty to Trump.

Wall Street Journal reporting Comey had come upon evidence of Trump collusion with the Russians.

Not Surprised.

"Within the Justice Department and the FBI, the firing of Comey has left raw anger, and some fear, according to multiple officials. Thomas O’Connor, the president of the FBI Agents Association, called Comey’s firing “a gut punch. We didn’t see it coming, and we don’t think Director Comey did anything that would lead to this.’’
Many employees said they were furious about the firing, saying the circumstances of his dismissal did more damage to the FBI’s independence than anything Comey did in his three-plus years in the job.
One intelligence official who works on Russian espionage matters said they were more determined than ever to pursue such cases. Another said Comey’s firing and the subsequent comments from the White House are attacks that won’t soon be forgotten. Trump had “essentially declared war on a lot of people at the FBI,” one official said. “I think there will be a concerted effort to respond over time in kind.”

If there were evidence, we would have heard long ago.

No Democrat has indicated that he/she has seen evidence of collusion. (They just desperately want to see it.)

This investigation has been going on for quite some time. There are people who have been unmasked--and still no evidence.

Get over it. Only person in trouble is Flynn--and we still are not sure what he did for the campaign that was illegal. His troubles are outside the campaign. (He did lie to Pence--but that is not a federal offense. It does make him subject to blackmail--which is the only thing )

Ugh.... If the witnesses are in collusion with Trump and in on this do tell what exactly they will testify about?

They interviewed Kushner. Perhaps they've bribed the witnesses? Perhaps they are purposefully interviewing the wrong people.

The Senate Intelligence Committee is not run by Democrats, it's is a mix of both Democrats and Republicans and there are far more Republicans on the committee than Democrats.

I've bolded the problematic words with your post. You are simply making stuff up, then will make it a reality later. That's classic liberalism - all emotion.

Neither am I, that a partisan hack leading the FBI would behave like this.

Didn't do anything? Please. Since when does intent to commit a crime matter, except for in the length of the sentence? And clearly, if Comey leaned on intent, then there WAS a crime committed. We have soldiers in jail for less. He showed his partisanship then and his firing was long overdue.

If your mad about anything other than Trump's cozy relationship with the Russians, then you are doing it wrong. He is acting in a treasonous manner for personal gain and putting his interests above the country.

Everything else is noise.

The problem here is that you are not following the money. If you follow the money, it leads directly to Trump and Kushner (and Tillerson, Devos, Prince, manafort, Stone, Flynn and others) sucking at the Russian teat for personal gain.

WaPo reported that Deputy AG Rosenstein threatened to quit after the WH said his memo was why DJT fired Comey. Fascinating stuff.
Anonymous
The comical thing is that the WH is trying to spin the firing as "It was because of how he handled the Clinton investigation and this is what you Dems wanted" - wait, WHAT?

Pretty sure I wasn't hallucinating when I saw all of those rallies where he was getting people to chant "LOCK HER UP."

The spin and excuse-making simply does not fly.

Yet another person who should be subpoenaed to testify and get the story on the record.

Eh. Talk. If he was actually used that way, then he should quit. It won't get any better.

WSJ agrees this was about Trump wanting a loyalist who will protect him.
