No, it means you didn't write this "story" in a humorous tone. You wrote it in a judgmental, negative tone.

This is what's pissing me off the most about this. She keeps saying "oh it's a joke laugh about it", "this story is supposed to be humorous". Nothing about what she wrote made it sound or appear as a "humorous" story. She went into even talking about how she feels bad for the kid's brother that has to deal with him. There's nothing funny about that, it was mean-spirited and now she's backpedaling because someone called her out.

Yes! She's the one who doesn't reveal her children's real names in an attempt to shelter them and keep their innocence (let's ignore for a moment how hypocritical this is bc she plasters their pictures and videos all over social media), yet she's publicly criticizing another child for the whole world to see. I just can't see where she found humor in this. Especially once she mentioned the kid spit in her kids face. I bet that wasn't funny in the moment. So why is it funny now? I think it's disgusting that she's not only trying to make light of a really unfortunate situation, but that she's using it for her own benefit. So in the snippets we've got strippers, racism, alcoholism and now danni trashing a child. Sounds like a winner.

It's because she didn't ever intend for it to be funny, and only said that because people were questioning her judgment by posting it, so she does what she always does and turned it into a big joke.

She did a lousy job back pedaling but really doubled down by using the humor defense ... "You don't get my humor lol" and telling us to "laugh about it". Is she incapable of admitting that maybe saying those things about a child and his mothers inability to parent him is inappropriate, regardless of The tone she used? Humorous or otherwise.

I'm pretty sure she IS incapable of admitting wrong-doing. I mean, even with the whole catfish thing, she never actually said, "Sorry for putting your photos on blast dude, my bad!" Instead, she just said how lame it was that it's 2016 and we're still catfishing people. I mean, agreed, but you couldn't at least admit that you messed up by being so quick to post some guy's photos on FB and IG?

I agree. I thought there was an apology in order, at the least. What she is skilled at is deflection. Maybe she'd make a decent politician. She's already got the shady and secret keeping part down.

I don't dislike Danni quite as much as some other people on this forum, but I have to say she really messed up with that demon snippet. I don't think her main focus should be worrying about offending people, but she should at least be weary about offending the people who are most likely to buy her book, moms! The only people I can see buying this book are people who've been through a tough marriage and divorce and people who have kids, fans from the show whom are probably mostly women who either have children or will soon. And you know she didn't ask the mom if the kid was special needs. I mean with the line of work she's in she needs to be a little careful about what she says. She's burning too many bridges.

I think everyone needs to stop assuming a book will actually be written/finished, published, and sold. Come on. this shit wont make it any further than microsoft word on her laptop

I think she'll self-publish the unedited snippets as an e-book. Or who knows, maybe it'll never come to fruition.

When Danni shares her snippet on "internet thugs" (her term, not mine) I'll be sure to say "I guess you don't understand their humor..laugh about it"

"Did you really ask his mom if he was special needs? Wow. I don't know what's worse: the poor writing, calling a child you know nothing about an "asshole" and a "demon", or asking his mother if he has special needs.

This doesn't read as humor, you just sound like a bitch."

Yaaaaaas..slay Molly!!

So, the snippet with the "demon" child she said was an "Unedited snippet". If a book does come to fruition, I'm very curious to see how this will be "edited"

"Danni Starr : Molly Reed I didn't ask in that way. Her kid spit in my kids face so I asked if he was ok, not hey is your kid special needs? You need to assume positive intent. First of all it's a rough draft, second of all its funny to me. My kids are bad sometimes and I call my mom and tell her to come get satan, am o serious no. If you think I'm a bitch you don't know me. My kids an asshole sometimes too. Also this kid SPIT IN MY DAUGHTERS FACE=asshole!"

Sooooo it's humorous that the child spit in your child's face?

Also saying "is he ok?" does not equal asking if there's underlying issues.

Ugh, so much wrong with this!

"I don't know what kind of moms you are, but I think I handled myself well. This kid was atleast 10 and he spit in my 3 year olds face...he's lucky he didn't lose a limb. Hope nobody ever spits in your kids face but if they were to, I promise you you wouldn't think the kid was great"

This sure doesn't sound like a humorous story.....
