| McLean giving up…. |
| Welllll |
What do you mean giving up? |
No one is posting any league moves yet because decisions aren't made. |
Giving up on a crappy union merger |
Going from a pathway to a top league to a pathway to the second tier. Seems like top players will leave. |
GA is a second tier? lol |
GA dad having his moment in the sun. |
It is not about GA or ECNL or even EDP. It is an about the team. There is good and bad in all leagues. I have seen EDP FYI teams tie ECNL teams. So if you are not in top 4 in ECNL or GA, You are just an average team. |

Does anyone have any idea what clubs are leaving GA or ECNL?
Hearing a good bit of ECNL nationwide are looking to jump to GA/MLSN and on the other hand I’m hearing that ECNL is creating a promotional league where ECRL teams/clubs and GA clubs will compete to get promoted to ECNL. Which GA clubs you ask??? I’m not sure. |
Love the idea of promotion and relegation. That would be nifty development, but I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for cross league promotion and relegation to happen. Although that would make a lot of sense and feasibly could be worked out. |
This already happens. Both ECRL and DPL let clubs that are looking to switch play (guest) in events like showcases. This is nothing new. Also if a club wasn’t one foot out the door when playing in another league there’s a very good chance they’ll get dropped. |
USYS actually does this, but the downside is for a team to reach the pinnacle they can’t lose for a few years. That’s also why USYS created elite 64, trying to copy leagues like ecnl and ga. |

Arlington - ECNL, RL
NVA - MLS Next, GA I would assume Loudon - Next 2 Valor - RL McLean - Next 2, GA Great Falls - joining with McLean NVU - RL VRSC - no clue but should try to go ECNL. Will struggle first few years but better platform for their girls and boys. Also open spot in that area. |
