My kid hasn't taken a bath since last Sunday

She's 5. I'm kind of ashamed, but I feel kind of free at the same time.

Eh, do you.

Our kids take weekly baths. Sometimes we miss one and go 10 days. They seem fine.

I think you forgot the line - I feel sorry for your child.

She isn't an adult with body odor, hon. It will be ok.

Our kids take weekly baths too, unless they're visibly dirty or would like to play in the bath. We only wash hair once a week even if we have several more baths.

No worries!

Mine went four days last week before I realized it. She was fine. Happens to all of us!

NP. Why was the original comment removed? Surely OP expected that kind of response after starting this thread

As long as they don't smell, who cares?

OP here. LOL - actually I expected this to be a humorous thread. I didn't complain to admin - don't know why it was deleted.

Hi to the other moms who understand. This week I was just too tired. I don't feel guilty, it is what it is.

I grew up taking a weekly bath until I was around 12. My kids take baths every four or five days unless they've been playing in the dirt.

But actually ask a scientist- some dirt is good for kids.

We only do baths on weekends as well!
