Anyone else married to a Beta male?

I confess, I married a beta.

I was never attractive or confident enough for the alpha guys to chase me.

So I settled for a beta.

He is a nice guy. Not the brightest bulb and has limited life experience but he is very nice and makes for an excellent companion.

He earns 90k at 29 and we live a comfortable middle class life in Fairfax.

He is never going to change the world or have much drive at the end of the day to do anything else other play video games.

My beta lacks a lot of career enthusiasm but he is dependable and will do the job at hand. He won't reach for the next job but he will just keep doing the one he's got at a B+ level. Turns out this is the perfect type of employee for the Federal Gov. So while he doesn't earn much he does have a decent pension and lots of years in. I earn quite a bit more but my job could be gone tomorrow and I'd have to hit the pavement hard to get something similar going. Also no pension. So I think we have a good household balance going. I will say he did actively turn DOWN a promotion and that was hard on me but its his life. He just does NOT desire to ever be someones boss. Its just not in him. Having 32 year olds tell him what to do will never bother him at 47…ever.

I love my "beta" male. Married for 20+ years, had no idea what a "beta" was until dcum. We are both "beta" so fit together well and are very happy.

Most women don't think like this guys. If you meet women who do, get out of DC or NYC. No one else cares about "beta" or "alpha" or any of this label crap.
