People who tend to see things as black and white and view life as a pitiless competition where all men are divided into "winners" and "losers." The winner males get to reproduce at will and be dominant bad boys while the loser males are either cast out or are tolerated in a subordinate role.

They think we're like gorillas - big, mean, dominant males with small penises who get all the women while the betas get left out. Really we're like bonobos - women having sex with lots of different dudes, sexual success based on social skills, and big swinging penises to win at the rampant sperm competition.

People here and on Reddit. The same people who obsess over LD and HD and use categories to pigeonhole people and excuse bad behavior.

Thankfully, this is utter BS and most people outside of the internet operate in more authentic fashion.

I think we are all alpha and beta in some respects. Find your male's alpha.

And the alpha part can't consist of whispering snarky remarks about others while on line at Starbucks.

Of couse we all have different traits. My DH is driven and successful, still plays organized competitive sports, and is definitely a mans man. However he does laundry as well, shares equally in raising the kids, isn't threatened by my high income, never turns me doen when i want a backrub, and always asks my opinion when he hits an obstacle in his way in his career, despite having an extremely successful career in sales.

He can be vulnerable and he csn be tough and it's extremely sexy.

90K at 29 is certainly top 10% income at that age. So you have that, troll

I think you really need therapy so you can stop projecting your feelings and sense of being inadequate on your husband. I know you're sad that you're so mediocre none of the good guys wanted you, but that's on you, not your husband.

Yes. When I was 27, that's what I thought I wanted. 20 years later, really wish I had married an alpha.

Why? So you can have a higher HHI? Not always worth it in my opinion.

No, you don't marry an alpha for the income but for the exciting sex.

This whole notion that income corresponds with alpha is way off. Betas tend to earn more.

He can tell you all about the women he had sex with. That's a kind of excitement, I suppose.
