This will be great for the area. Hope it happens. |
| Uh huh. This will happen. Sure.... |
| LOL. We can't even get the freaking purple line! |
http://wtop.com/dc-transit/2017/04/fastest-train-in-the-world-will-run-between-dc-and-baltimore/slide/1/ It sound serious. |
| I'm not riding on a train that goes 311 MPH. Sorry. |
Don't be sorry. Leaves more space for the rest of us. Love the Maglev trains in Japan! |
| I'll believe it when I see it. Public transport in this country has lagged behind European and Asian technology for years. It's not a political priority. |
|
Why in God's name would anyone need to go to Baltimore at 300mph? Or at all, really?
It's a decaying, crime-ridden, violent pit of a city with zero redeeming qualities. It's like a far stupider, more dangerous version of Cincinnati, but without the charm. They should bypass Bmore and build that track straight to midtown Manhattan. Then they'd have something. D.C. to NYC in 40 minutes? Yes, thanks. |
Not sure. To the extent Trump wants to do anything that has broad physical support, it's to fix public infrastructure. Maybe Ivanka can try to convince him to support fancy trains rather than a wall. |
They are planning to go to NY by 2035...45 minutes |
Now that's something of note. Will I even be alive in 2035 though? |
| They have been saying that for 25 years. I love how it's always going to be a maglev train. That's what tells you it's not serious. |
|
Too bad Baltimore is a shrinking urban hell-hole run by incompetent democrats; decade after decade after decade.
D.C. isn't much better. |
| Baltimore...ew. |
