She is a weird person that makes weird fashion decisions. Who wears shoes like this to pop into the office or visit her dad at work?

A woman whose primary goal and role in life is to appeal sexually to Daddy. Next question?

and maskless, putting secret service agents at risk.

Who wears shoes like that in January? I’m here and I know it’s been slightly warmer than usual but jeez.

You never wear heels in the winter? D you have a job that requires professional attire? I personally wouldn’t wear that heel height, but those shoes are gorgeous.

They are not even remotely professional. Unless you are Cruella De Vil. Or an escort. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Heels should go the way of the dodo re: professional attire.

She looks like what my dad used to call “hard looking” women.

My dad would call her “ridden hard and put away wet...”.

Your *dad* would say this..to you?

Ew

You two need to get your minds out of the gutter. It’s a horse term.

+1- my dad, who is 80, said “put up,” not “put away.” He was a horseman for 40+ years.

For the vast, VAST majority of us who do not have horses, one’s mind does not have to be in the gutter for that to sound vulgar.

My parents are from farm/ranch backgrounds and often used "rode hard and put away wet" to describe anyone who looked like a hot mess. Without a ranching context, it does sound vulgar but it's not meant to be.

Yes, I wear heels in the winter, and yes, I do have a job that requires professional attire. Those facts are not relevant - this is a spring shoe. The heels I wear in January have full sides and not cutouts, and they aren’t patent.

Did anyone else see the NYTimes style section from today?
www.nytimes.com/2021/01/16/fashion/melania-donald-trump-brand-farewell.amp.html

I think the author could have benefited from reading these posts! They were way too nice to the whole Trump clan in terms of their fashion critique.

Thanks for linking! Yes, I would have expected her to be harder on them.

And the white shoes in the middle pic here are HORRIBLE. Literally any other shade would have worked better.

I liked M’s blue inauguration outfit. Didn’t love the matchy shoes but I though it was appropriate. I didn’t love her gown that night.

I will agree at the time I really liked it. I can't 100% decide if my opinion has changed in retrospect. I could not have appreciated the coats/jackets it portended.

As we approach the inauguration of a new administration in just over 48 hours, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on this shining star. Perhaps in these waning hours, there needs to be an awards ceremony. If so, I nominate this for greatest disaster of Trump Women and their Fashion:

I was so shocked when I read that KAC’s coat was Gucci and more than $3,000. Look at her styling choices. Look at them!

Ivanka should wear pantyhose in the winter in DC.

I'd say her plastic surgery was a success. Especially considering what there was to work with.

I just don’t understand her hair. She’s very wealthy. She pay to have hair people on hand to do her hair. Why does it always look like a frizzy, fried mess?
