Only twelve sitting Senators have ever been indicted. Indicted Congressmen are a dime a dozen. 31 Congressmen were charged in 1980 during Abscam for accepting bribes from fake FBI "Arabs."
69 federal officials were charged during Watergate. It's not beyond the realm that many of the insurrection planners will end up in federal hoosegow. I sure hope Gym is among them.
