Honest question, do you have any evidence (even tabloid reports) of this? I'm assuming you're not personally in their crowd. The Rose Hanbury rumors were reported in multiple sources, but I have not seen any reports to the effect that William is regularly having affairs.

Louis looks old enough that it's recent. I do think they're dressed similarly to how they have in the past so you can't quite be sure when the video was taken. It's all intentionally blurred. Though I do think she just generally picks a lane on clothes and neutrals and jewel tones it is.

Up until 2018 - the Cambridges spent their entire marriage barking at anyone who suggested the public should be seeing more of their kids. Then the affair was exposed and suddenly there’s a half dozen engagements with all the kids every single year. Photos, video and audio galore.

Up until that point the public hasn’t even known what George’s voice sounded like! Coincidence? Nope. The kids are the only thing William has to keep the tabloids from exposing him now.

The high estimates are likely too high, and likely a significant portion of that wealth is non-liquid, as it's derived from the ownership of their business (which is apparently valued at about ~$40M). But the Middletons have been UMC/wealthy for years. They put Kate and her siblings through exclusive boarding schools and bought Kate and Pippa ~$2M apartment in a fancy part of London before they were married. So they aren't in the "wealth league" of the BRF or billionaires, like Pippa's husband's family, but they certainly aren't dependent on being in William's good graces to finance their lifestyle.
