I'm one of the plastic surgery posters. It's extremely obvious that Melania is a woman who undergoes cosmetic procedures, and this is around the time that she would be getting a refresher, and I would assume that when she does so she would attempt to lay low for awhile. Just seems to be the most plausible explanation. But sure, I suppose she really could have had kidney surgery.
