Soliciting information and other in-kind exchanges from a foreign entity during a campaign - whether or not you actually receive them - is against the law. Opposition research has a monetary value - consulting firms charge hundreds of thousands and more for that work.

Doesn't matter that Donnie Jr. didn't get "good" info. He said he wanted it. He knew it was from a source tied to the Kremlin. The fact that you are defending this reflects your tribalism, not the law. Or patriotism for that matter.

Your argument is that collusion with Russians is not a crime.. Accepted it's not illegal to do so.
