Mr. Scott forfeited his right to possess any firearm in 2005, when he was lawfully convicted of shooting a man in San Antonio, TX, and sentenced to a prison term of greater than one year (felony).

He again forfeited that right when, in the presence of police, possessed what appeared to be - and in fact was - a banned controlled substance outlawed under the Controlled Substances Act in all 50 states and D.C.

The police had ample reason to arrest Mr. Scott; he forced their hand when he presented an imminent threat to them by approaching them with an illegal gun in hand after multiple refusals to comply with commands over several minutes. And again:

THE OFFICER WAS BLACK.

Now some of the "activists" in Charlotte are calling for the police chief to step down. For what? Among their other complaints, they are objecting to the police "stifling" (their word) the rioters. So in other words, they want free reign to destroy property, loot businesses, assault people, and commit whatever other violent crimes without the police trying to maintain control? These people are ridiculous.

There are people that will always believe the gun was planted (despite the physical evidence and him wearing an empty gun holster on his ankle). No amount of evidence will change their minds. They think it's always someone else's fault, and admitting they were wrong is too difficult to do.

Their city, their right? Right to do what? Loot....destroy.....injure? Nope, they have to "right" to engage in criminal conduct.

No thanks. I don't put myself in the middle of an angry crowd behaving like barbarians. (And lovely language, i see. ) But you're telling me you condone criminal behavior? If yes, that's the problem right there.

70% of them are not even from that state at all. Go read the link at the thread "traveling side show."

ITS NEVER A RIGHT TO DESTROY OTHER PEOPLES PROPERTY!!!!

What does it even accomplish anyway?
