Now that details about SY are starting to come out from clubs its becoming more and more clear that they will group by grade within the 8/1-7/31 context. (ie younger players will be forced to play with their grade)

Seriously. How many August kids in the us soccer landscape are going to get recruited that are playing against a grade lower. Such a tiny, minuscule, percentage. Just play with the new age grouping and move on.

More August kids will get recruited playing on age than playing a grade up, no question. As more or less the oldest in a grade they will be set compared to other birth months. Everyone should feel bad for June and July kids as they get shut out of so many sports.
