I’ve heard him explain that in dozens of other speeches. He wanted to legislative solution, because that actually solves the problem.

He could have written an EO years ago while still asking Congress to create a legislative solution. He did not. In fact, he did absolutely nothing when he could have, as demonstrated by his recent EO. Stop the gaslighting.

The GOP could have passed bills when W was president, when Obama was president, when Trump was president and when Biden was president, and at each turn, they didn't, all while gaslighting the country, complaining about immigration.

Just like the right complained about Roe being legislated from the court, Biden wanted a legislative solution because that is how our country is supposed to work, and he didn't want "his edicts" to be undone by the GOP in the future.

The GOP continuing to make this an issue and not passing legislation just shows that it isn't really an emergency or an issue other than to keep certain voters angry.

Sure. Meanwhile, Joe *finally* chose to take action at the border and you simply cannot deny he could have done that as soon as he was elected. He chose not to. Imagine how the worst of his administration’s border crisis could have been alleviated had he only had the wit to act sooner rather than later.

Because she loved him, she didn’t want him to lose to Trump. He was incapable of prosecuting the case against Trump this time. There are multiple hundred plus page threads about this.

Nancy Pelosi does not love anyone. She is a political animal and you are only useful to her to the extent you accomplish her goals.

No one would ever even remark on this if she was a man.

She did what had to done. We could not have trump again and we all knew this. Joe Biden is a patriot and I can think of no other president who would have put his country before ambition. Trump must be spitting nails and he will spend a lot of time going after Biden which means he will not be talking policy but just spewing his vitriol against someone who is no longer running against him.

So you are falling for the GOP tripe and staying angry. Trump can come in an undo what Biden did. If there was legislation, that would be harder to do. Get it?

(probably not)

Biden won the nomination. Democrats discarded the votes of their party. And then say they are defending democracy.

They do like him. And also he's not in any condition to be president 4 more years. Is that really difficult for you to understand? What are you confused about?

Indeed. MAGAs are uneducated dimwits.

Republicans were saying for months that he wasn’t in any condition to be president for 4 more years, and Democrats constantly denied it and called us trolls. And *we’re* the uneducated dimwits? Nice try.
DP

If you’re still currently supporting the Republican who isn’t in any condition to be president for four more years, you’re a dimwit.

You do know that many of us aren’t voting this year, right? We have told you this over and over.

Do you think that somehow makes you better? If you live iin a swing state, if you sit on your hands and do nothing you are almost as bad as the Trump supporters. If he wins, you are culpable.

Oh, shut up. You are beyond insufferable.

I just don’t understand how you can lie to yourself and tell yourself anything different. If you support Trump, that’s one thing. But if you oppose him and don’t cast your vote against him, if you live in a swing state, how can you live with yourself? It just makes zero sense to me. I am in my 50s and have never skipped an election.

Agreed.

Joe’s speech was great.

Nope.

The votes were for "Biden-Harris"

Biden decided to retire so "Harris" got the votes and the delegates.

This only hold water if Harris wins.
She hasn't won yet.
If she wins you can say this and it will be water under the bridge.
If she loses it's going to be a problem with consequences that will last for years
