Nikki Haley - What are the chances

I mean, if Dean Phillips was getting 40 percent against Biden, Dems would be freaked out.

That is what I don't get about SC results: it was NOT a big victory for Trump. She got a huge chunk of the vote! I really hope she stays in and even runs as an independent eventually. I won't vote for her but we could use the distruption.

Trump should already be worried about the polls of his voters in IA, NH, and SC that say they wouldn't vote for him if he's convicted in one of his criminal trials. His voters aren't going to vote for Biden, but they very well may stay home.

The GOP is VERY worried.

Add to it the whole mess with the RNC and using all of their money for Trump's lawsuits.

The divorce between Trump/MAGA and the GOP will be very ugly. I only hope it happens in such as way a to maximally impact the 2024 presidential and senate elections.

I’d vote for her as an independent 100%

It's her home state. These are the people who know her best, and the people she has been trying to please for her political career. It's a pretty big snub.

Agree completely. And just because they didn't vote for trump in the primary doesn't mean they won't in the general election.

I will vote for Nikki Haley on Super Tuesday and will write her in on Election Day in November, if need be.

Except for those who said they wouldn’t. Did you see the exit polls??

Trump certainly has his loyalists in the GOP who love him, but a big chunk of it is ruled by fear as well. He can’t afford to show any cracks in the edifice.

But the SC party leaders are all terrified of Trump and his mob. Graham and Scott and Mace and the rest know Trump is a corrupt imbecile but still kiss the ring. The Republican Party is full of the most pathetic politicians imaginable.

The media spent a month tell everyone that Trump has already wrapped up the nomination and Haley has no chance and should drop out, yet 300,000 people turned out to vote for Haley or against Trump. If the delegates were awarded proportionally as they were in Iowa and New Hampshire, she would have won 20 of the 50 delegates. Under winner take all she won only 6 by winning two Congressional districts.

The media gaslighters are spinning Trump’s win as impressive because they are comparing him to non incumbents in primaries with a bunch of candidates. Trump is the former President and two-time nominee who turned the party into his own grift network. If you compare him to past incumbents, he is in deep trouble.

Exactly. She should remain, as a thorn in her side. Many South Carolina Republicans who she mentored and campaigned for and elevated into positions of power during her tenure as Governor completely betrayed her and as such, no longer have the right to tell her to drop out or anything else.

As long as we aren't voting for people over 75 years of age to lead country until 2029, we'll be doing the right thing.

Nikki Haley doesn’t care about SC.
