I was just going to say, I like the dress a lot - but not on her. Even though it fits well it looks terrible on her. Maybe it's the hair, makeup, and stupid shoes that ruin it.

I don’t understand turtlenecks with short sleeves. Also, it shortens her neck and with the larger chest makes her look heavier than she is.

I got a few cashmere turtlenecks with short sleeves some years ago. They were my favorite tops for work in winter. Warm outdoors with layering, soft, and cool enough for the warm office.

I think the proportions are kind of strange. I think it would look better about a foot shorter. Instead, it has a very long slit, which looks odd. It’s like the dress is at war with itself, trying to be simultaneously “modest” and “sexy”. It’s also not the greatest color on her, since she looks kind of pale and washed out against the color. If it were shorter, I would probably like this dress, especially with a matching jacket.
