Well one thing is clear. The US provides all the intelligence and targeting for NATO and Ukraine.
I imagine Israel is even more dependent on the US. If the US cut off intelligence to Israel it would cripple Israel. |

The truth is extensively documented. You need to pull your head out of the sand and look around you. IDF and Zionist terrorist veterans themselves acknowledged the many atrocities committed against Palestinians during the Nakba. The Palestinians who were driven from their homes have the right of return or just compensation in terms of UN Resolution 194. And then the UN and several other humanitarian organizations have documented Israeli war crimes and violations of international law in great detail. Surely you are aware that Palestinian prisoners are tortured and raped in Israeli detention? And that they are denied habeas corpus, which is illegal under international law? As for the callousness exhibited by Zionists in this forum, just read it, and then ask yourself how you would feel about people saying the same things about Zionism? I've heard people whining that "from the river to the sea" means wanting to remove Zionists from Israel, but then the same people turn around and talk about wanting Palestinians removed from Gaza and the West Bank. Clearly, Zionism is a sick, racist, genocidal movement. |

This is absolutely true. And Israel continues to try to suppress the truth and brainwash its inhabitants. Israel is extremely secretive about what happened during the Nakba and will not release official archives from that time. The truth of what happened then has come from aging veterans who felt motivated to speak the truth as they got older. There are also the first-hand testimonies of Palestinians and, for example, Syrians, who met exhausted, thirst-stricken Palestinians, driven on by the IDF, their personal possessions pilfered by the IDF at checkpoints along the way, who were herded over the borders. Of COURSE Palestinians resent this, as they should. To those who support Israel, how would you feel under the same circumstances? And it wasn't just about stealing land. The IDF, the Irgun, the Alexandoni Brigade, etc., perpetrated multiple massacres and rapes, destroyed hundreds of towns, and ethnically cleansed 750,000 people from their homes. The same thing continues to happen in the West Bank. Menachem Begin was described by the British as "the leader of a notorious terrorist organization," the Irgun. He helped plot the deadly bombing of the King David Hotel and led the Deir Yassin massacre, personally executing women and children himself. These horrible people used horrible means to steal other people's land. Who in their right mind would think there wouldn't be pushback? |

Arguing that Oct 7 is fine, as have been every other act of Palestinian terror, because you think acts of self-defense by Israel are "human rights abuses" is facially laughable. Oh, those poor maligned Palestinians! Living in peace and harmony among their fellow men under the British Mandate until those mean Jews turned up after the Holocaust! Sorry, no room here for you, said the Palestinians! Strangely, the Jewish people had lived in the area since around 1000 BC, the land changing hands innumerable times thereafter. Palestinians had and have no special claim to it and never have. In fact, they lost it decisively in war in 1948. A war started by the Arabs. Too bad, so sad. Or self-inflicted "nakba" for you, if you prefer. So come back here when you have a better story. And forget about your sniveling about the Irgun and the Lohamey Heruth Israel, which fought against the British, not the Palestinians, to facilitate the immigration of Jews fleeing persecution in Europe, which the British resisted until they handed the issue over to the U.N. to resolve. Which it did. But not to the satisfaction of the Palestinians, who wanted everything for themselves. Losers of wars they start are just losers, not victims of "human rights abuses". DP. I haven't seen anyone here argue that Oct 7 is "fine." I'm sure we all agree that it was wrong, horrible, terrible and that the death toll was exacerbated by the Israeli military's enthusiastic intervention (which appears to have burned and killed hundreds). Many Palestinians were initially very welcoming toward Jews until Zionist terrorists began genociding them and stealing their land and property. You cannot argue that the Israeli forces had clean hands during the Nakba. Their atrocities are well-documented. Read Ilan Pappe's The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine, The Hundred Years War on Palestine by Rashid Khalidi, or Teddy Katz's thesis. Are you seriously denying the occurrence of well-documented massacres at Deir Yassin, Tantura, Lydda, Ramle, Saliha, and too many others to mention? If so, no serious historian would agree with you. And why does Israel continue to keep its archives from that time secret if it is confident there were no atrocities? Your claim that the Irgun only attacked the British and not the Palestinians demonstrates your historical illiteracy. The Irgun were involved in the Deir Yassin massacre and committed several other acts of terrorism against Palestinians. There is broad agreement about this among historians. That's why the UN, along with the US and British governments, described the Irgun as a terrorist organization. Yes, Jews at one time lived in the area. Many other groups also lived there - both before and after. The fact that a particular group lived in a certain place millennia ago is entirely irrelevant. Some of the descendants of Jews became Christians, Druze, and Muslims and remained in Palestine until they were ethnically-cleansed or murdered by Zionist gangs during the Nakba. These people had been happily living there going back hundreds of years, and still have the right of return or just compensation through UN Resolution 194. Zionists started the Arab-Israeli war by perpetrating genocide against the indigenous people of the region. The Arab countries declared war in part in response to the atrocities. Come back after you've brushed up on your history. |
