| My last job was 2 weeks, current job ~14 weeks. |
|
I think I get 2 weeks vacation and 1 week of sick time per year? They give a lot of sick time because they don't give short term disability.
The amount of vacation I get will go up the longer I'm there. |
| Unlimited sick days and 28 vacation days. |
|
22 vacation days
12 sick days 10 federal holidays |
| I have 8 weeks of PTO, vacation and sick all together. |
| Three weeks of PTO. |
| 26 and 13. |
|
I accrue 4 hours every pay period of both so it works out to about 2 weeks of AL and 2 weeks of SL.
If I work a holiday I can either take the OT or I can bank hours. So If I worked Presidents day for 12 hours I can bank 18 hours in comp leave. I tend to do this a lot so I have extra hours to use. |

Last FT job:
24 annual leave days 8 sick days 4 personal / family days 10 federal holidays 4 weeks of break (Thanksgiving / winter / spring) 12-month faculty @ state u. Really flexible schedule so I could work whenever / wherever for the most part. I pretty much never touched my leave for things like appointments, short days, or long weekends--only if I was actually scheduled out for a long vacation. Before that: 24 annual leave days 12 sick days Fed. Holidays 2 weeks break (winter / summer) Non-profit ED. I pretty much never touched my leave because I had so much comp. time banked. I think I got paid out for 8 weeks when I left. Before that: 24 annual leave days 12 sick days Federal holidays + a couple other random break days 2 weeks break (winter / summer) I had to use leave any time I was gone for 15 minutes or more. If I worked 40 hours M-Th (which was often the case because days were long & I subbed for other staff), I still had to work at least 6 hours on Fri. or take leave. (I did at least get OT). School director. |
