It's very disturbing to see the polarization. The rules-based world order with its roots in humanitarian norms seems to be falling apart. In its place we have in-group favoritism, out-group demonization, and might is right.
Sadly, it all sounds like a recipe for chaos. That way, war and genocide lies. |

Great video on a happy reunion in Gaza.

While leaving the school, they found a baby alone in a classroom with several dead bodies. They took the baby with them when they fled to the south and returned to northern Gaza after the ceasefire. At the crossing point, the family gave an interview with a journalist, explaining they were looking for the family of the baby. Father and baby were recently reunited. His wife was killed in the bombing and he had been looking for his son the whole time. |

A truly ugly thing to say. Historically, it is Zionist terrorism that ethnically cleansed 750,000 Palestinians from their land, massacred 15,000 of them, and raped and mutilated many more. Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, was abducted by Israel and is being held without charges at the notorious Sde Teiman prison. He has been severely tortured, kept in solitary confinement for 25 days, and denied medication for his heart condition. Thousands of others have been forcibly disappeared by Israel and their whereabouts are unknown.

Israel never started a war but it did finish them. And Arab Muslim imperialists have attacked Jews in the region for centuries. Hamas and its predecessors aspired to literally kill every Jew - it was in their respective charters. Palestinians literally conspired with Nazis. Lastly, stop hiding behind your hate for “Zionism”, which is simply the belief that Jews should have a safe, peaceful place in their indigenous homeland. Palestinians had decades to build toward a healthy state, instead they invested in terror tunnels and made Sinwar and other Hamas leaders rich. Most Jews vote Democratic and most Jews voted for Harris. And most Jews also believe in safety, peace, and security for Israel. Hamas will never agree to that so enough with blaming Israel for “genocide”. You start wars then you pay the consequences. |

Israel has most certainly started many wars and conflicts against the Palestinians and committed many atrocities. Zionist imperialists have been attempting to genocide the Palestinians and steal their land since the Nakba. Hamas has replaced "Jew" with "Zionist" in its charter. Judaism is a religion. Zionism is an ethnosupremacist cult based in a fundamentalist interpretation of the Hebrew Bible and the narcissistic and racist belief that the aspirations of one religious group trump those of another. That might have gone down during the Bronze Age. It's considered downright evil today. To claim that "Jews should have a safe, peaceful place in their indigenous homeland" is incredibly self-centered. Palestinians are far more indigenous to the region than Europeans who may have, for example, 80% Polish DNA. This claim is simply an extremely weak excuse to colonize other people's land and ethnically cleanse them from it. And again, how very selfish to claim "Jews also believe in safety, peace, and security for Israel." Zionists need to acknowledge their responsibilities to the people they have abused and genocided for 77 years and to consider safety, peace, and security for them, too. People need to stop thinking of themselves as belonging to this or that ethnic group and acknowledge their common humanity and mutual rights. The idea that one group should be privileged over another is racist and does not accord with modern, humanistic thinking (although we must acknowledge that the world is currently in a temporary regression). It is past time that the Palestinians receive the rights granted them by UN Resolution 194, which states they must either be allowed to return to the homes from which they've been driven or receive just compensation from what has been stolen from them. If you want UN Resolution 181, you have to accept UN Resolution 194. Either accept both or give up on both. Until Israel abides by international law, common sense, and basic morality, it will always experience opposition and will never be safe. Germany pays reparations to Jewish victims of the Holocaust (for some reason, much less to the Roma). Israel must do the same for Palestinians. You can't just take, take, and take some more and never be held accountable for your evil. There will never be peace without justice. Currently, Israel has adopted policies of very ugly in-group favoritism and out-group demonization. We know where that leads ... |

So much nonsense in your post but starting here: 1) Which wars did Israel start? Curious. 2) Less than half of Israelis are of from Europe. Many of them came to Europe to flee the persecution of the Islamists and before that were enslaved by Romans (among other invaders). You don’t get to persecute Jewish people, force them from their homeland, and then denounce their indigenous connection to the land. |
