Surprise! What did the seller take with them that you expected would stay with the house?

Was so disappointed when we moved in and several huge terra cotta pots embedded in the planting beds had been removed.

Light fixtures in the hallways. Fine by us bc we were going to replace them anyway, but still.

Washer and dryer (advertied as part of the upgrades).

Blinds/curtains.

Did you get the washer and dryer back? Or comped for them? That would have burned me up if I was expecting them to be there.

blinds and curtains for every window in the house. They also took the silverware basket from the dishwasher, all of the fire alarms (they were there during our inspection) and all of the light bulbs.

+1. Took all the lightbulbs? Like, unscrewed them from the ceiling and fixtures? Wow.

Makes me think of the Grinch taking the last crumb from the floor of the Who-houses.

All the toilet paper. We have always left at least one roll of toilet paper in the house. Just common curtesy
