every time there is a thread it gets deleted
guess free speech really is under attack |
|
For pete's sake, leave their kids alone! They didn't choose this.
Wait for them to grow up and write tell-all books about this nightmare. |
| When you can fully understand the concept of free speech and the 1st Amendment, then feel free to come back and comment. |
| Because it's disturbing that people want to discuss a 5 year old girl. |
+1 Free speech protects you from prosecution. The end. |
| The oldest of her kids is FIVE. Even if her mother has the bad grace to pimp out Arabella in order to sell Ivanka's crap, that doesn't mean we have to sink to her level and decide the FIVE year old is fair game. She can't say "Mommy, the mean ladies on the internet really hurt my feelings with the mean things they say about us, so I want to keep a lower profile - I don't want you to put pics or stories of me online publicly anymore." |

Once you have been around dcum for a while, you will realize that although Jeff is a very partisan lefty liberal, he is 100% non partisan when it comes to the issue of politicians' minor children.
This goes for children whose parents are from every political and ideological slant, from the local level all tye way to the national level. He truly works hard to view these kids as if "What if they were my kids?" and approaches their privacy from the eyes of a parent (or in some cases more so than a parent.) He is partisan, but has integrity. If a thread about someone's kids is happening, it is only because he overlooked it or is sleeping/eating/at a funeral. He has even stepped into those threads while at concerts. You can keep reposting about the Trump family and Kellyanne's kids, and he will keep deleting them. It is not a free speech issue (this is a private forum by the way). This isa common decency issue. |
| I am not a fan of Trump's. I mean I think it's a tragedy he was elected, but I don't need or want to talk about his minor child or grandkids. They didn't work on the campaign or the administration, they're innocent kids and there's no point in talking about them. |
| NP. Personally, I don't care about the kids. In fact, I suspect the kids are probably about as pleasant as most other young children are. I will say though that I don't want the Trump, Kushner, or Conway parents anywhere near the parent communities at my children's schools. Their values disgust me. I hope they homeschool, or stay in NY/NJ, or at least go somewhere else. |
| We need to rethink what we consider to be free speech on the internet. I know that's not the point of this thread but things have gotten out of hand this year. |
That's understandable. |
PP again. I suppose if you could guarantee me that the Trump-Kushner-Conway parents would never be anywhere near the schools, then I would have no problem with the kids being there. But at least at my kids' schools, the parents are expected to participate in the community in the younger grades. If they're completely absent, then they're not really adding anything to the school. In that case, the school should instead admit a family that will contribute to the community. |
Leave all the kids out of it. The Obama girls, the Trump kids, it angered me when this was happening to Chelsea and to the Bush twins too. They are kids! I don't know why people are so obsessed with the kids. They absolutely 100% deserve privacy |
| Yawm. Politics are a dog these days. But let's leave the children out of it. |
What a petty little person. |
