The list of donors to the new ballroom, provided by the White House, is below. It’s not clear how much each corporation or individual contributed: Altria Group Amazon Apple Booz Allen Hamilton Caterpillar Coinbase Comcast Hard Rock International HP Lockheed Martin Meta Micron Technology Microsoft NextEra Energy Palantir Technologies Ripple Reynolds American T-Mobile Tether Union Pacific Railroad J. Pepe and Emilia Fanjul Adelson Family Foundation Stefan E. Brodie Betty Wold Johnson Foundation Charles and Marissa Cascarilla Edward and Shari Glazer Harold Hamm Benjamin Leon Jr. The Lutnick Family The Laura & Isaac Perlmutter Foundation Stephen A. Schwarzman Konstantin Sokolov Kelly Loeffler and Jeff Sprecher Paolo Tiramani Cameron Winklevoss Tyler Winklevoss |
These companies and people are all either stupid or weak. Stupid if they believe it’s a donation for a ballroom or weak if they were afraid of being extorted, harassed, or sued if they didn’t donate. |
| Is there a cite for that list? |

Guys, "welfare" just means government subsidies for low-income people. The United States has six major welfare programs: Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Medicaid Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Programs (SNAP aka food stamps) Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Earned Income Tax Credit(EITC) Housing assistance |

How many of those donors will pay for November SNAP, do ya think?
Maybe we should all send them a note, asking for a like-for-like donation. |
Thanks. |
Seriously. They'll pay tribute to the emperor as a tip for their tax cuts, but they'll let citizens starve. It's like the Middle Ages. |
Few details have been relaeased about donations. Known amounts are far short of the $300 mn price tag so Trump has been saying he’ll “donate” $230 mn he is demanding from DOJ. |
| Smh. Pledging their loyalty. His 1% Oligarchy friends are running the show anyway. He is just their marionette or play toy. They do not care if people starve or die. They never did and never will. |
Where is Oprah (& her money) when you really need her? |
Maybe they should have saved some of that cigarette & tattoo money. |
I really want to throw up . Disgusting. |
Maybe we should stop allowing tax deductions for mortgage interest and many “business” deductions. |
And whatever donations are made to the ballroom are considered tax-deductible. So let's say one of these rich people donates $10 million. They're only truly contributing 6.3 million while the other 3.7 million is subsidized by taxpayers. But that's assuming these people even pay income tax in the first place, which they might not. Sigh. |
