His ratings were in the basement. Maybe Disney was tired of lighting their cash on fire. Can’t wait for the next Snow White movie. |

FCC Chair Carr reasserts his war on First Amendment and ignoring the Charlie Kirk’s pleas for free speech. He claims to be Deep State, going rogue and disregarding the President! https://www.cnbc.com/2025/09/18/jimmy-kimmel-charlie-kirk-fcc-carr.html |
Who is backtracking? FCC Chair Carr announced he is expanding his scope to shut down more criticism of Trump. |
Thin skinned and too stupid to realize that he's admitting to censorship. What happened to his campaign promise: "Never again will the immense power of the state be weaponized to persecute political opponents." |
Unless ABC doesn’t pay his contract salary, he has no standing to sue. ABC preemptively caved to pressure instead of fighting, so they can’t sue either. |

Late night comedy shows worked in an era where everyone watched TV, the country was relatively united - no one on either side took much offense about political jokes.
By about 2010 (for some much earlier) the younger right had totally abandoned TV because it was leftwing biased, and sought its humor elsewhere. To maintain its audience, late night TV had to transition to only making fun of the right. Over the next decade the left lost its sense of humor entirely - and so shows went from seeking audience laughs to seeking audience approval - the shows became overtly political, left wing - and way too serious and self-important. The hosts evolved with their dwindling, and ever more fanatical, audiences. And now it’s just dying because the genre is played out - and the audience itself is old and irrelevant. |

The American people don’t approve of Trumps censorship

The WSJ Editorial Board disagrees with you. |
Still insane that it has the approval that it does. This country is in the sh@tter. |
25-30% of the country supported Nixon and didn't want him to resign. It's always been this way. A solid 25-30% of Americans have always wanted authoritarian-like government. |
