LOL. He was a terrible coach. Goof ball too.

At least he didn't have a reputation for inappropriately texting teen players or hooking up with moms. But, definitely sounds like you're happy with following "great" coaches.

Who is this about?

I'm pretty sure it’s about Tony W.

Or JH, departed for Rev.

Still bitter that your u caught him with your, huh?🎶😂

What?

Yeah he was slammed on here last winter for being a drunk with anger issues and I wandering eye for
certain moms up until people realized making up rumors like that can get you in legal trouble. There is nothing to back up the claims just petty upset parents making stuff up.

pp is just deflecting from the 2012GA 0-13 loss to Springfield

0-29 over the past two weekends.

TSJFC's younger teams are in trouble, and if they do in fact have younger ages doing well out of the flagship location, why wouldn't those families just go to SYC come GA ages rather than travel all the way to Loudoun?

TSJ is an embarrassment to GA. Strip the badge let those players go play RL or EDP somewhere save them the embarrassment. Parents you are being fleeced if you are paying GA prices for this disaster

This could be their last year if another club wants in on GA in the mid-atlantic

The only team winning are the 0607’s. I’d be curious how many of them play in the spring with college commitments

There are just too many clubs in a close NoVA area to support this many teams playing in national platforms (ECNL/GA). Last year there were 6 teams (5 ECNL + 1 GA) and ECNL saw fit to combine two of the teams to be more competitive. That means 5 is probably the right number of teams to have here.

But we now have 7 teams (4 ECNL + 3 GA)! There just aren’t that many players at that level in the local population to support all the teams. There will have to be some more consolidation and clubs will be competing for the same players. TSJ is likely to be the first to consolidate.

It looks like from a geographic perspective it doesn't make sense to have TSJ next to the other GA club in Revolution. 2 For this year is better. Maybe add 1 in Richmond area and another in VA Beach but there is no need to have 3 in NOVA. SYC and Rev will be enough.

area not year

Yes just not enough room for 3 teams based in Loudoun (NVA, Rev, TSJ). Maybe TSJ could have better chance as one of two pulling from Springfield/Alexandria and there are more teams in the North

There's no room for TSJ in the Springfield area as far as fields go.

There’s not enough fields for the teams already there. Tsj has no space. Looking back wonder if they regret the FCv purchase versus starting their own club next to the gym and partnering up with another more local club.

If they truly wanted a successful youth soccer club, the regret should be not beating Rev to purchase Evergreen when they did. TSJ is failing because they didn't have the foresight to secure a real facility in Loudoun for soccer.

They did (and don't) have several millions of leveragable capital to make the buy. They were also in the final phases of building the Springfield facility so it wasn't really an option without lots of outside investment.

Now they're cash strapped with a declining product and a director that no one in NOVA will touch with a 10 foot pole and they're recruiting GA coaches out of Guam.
