| That’s because NOVA and DC are all full of themselves. |
| Gone are the days when SSSA, Ireton, and Visi were always a top nationally ranked team. They scheduled and beat teams from all over the country. It has been a long time since any of them beat a team of note. The last impressive win was Visi over McDonogh i believe a few years back. I think it is due to the emergence of multiple options for top players in the area at other privates and publics. Which is ultimately better for the region as a whole. |
LOL. Best line ever! |
Last year. It happened last year. |
Your post shows how much you know about girls HS lax, especially in this area. Nice troll-job, though! |
Who is the ignorant one here have you looked at the at the rankings for yourself? Just in case you missed the article and rankings here they are... https://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/q-collar-girls-top-25-national-high-school-rankings-mcdonogh-md-returns-to-no-1/62591#:~:text=McDonogh%20(Md.)%20is%20the,the%20IAAM%20Championship%20in%202023. |
| A bit of a surprise not one of the D.C. beltway teams is in the top 25??? Between GC, Visi and SR, at least one should have been listed. Which one is splitting hairs. |
|
Let us see which DMV teams made the top 25 to start the season out, shall we?
Ireton-no GC-no SSASA-no PVI-no Potomac-no Visi-no SJC no SR-no |
| Inside lax rankings (both teams and players) are known to be pretty flawed |
| says the dad whose daughters team did not make the top 25 |
Maryvale being #5 and GCS being #8 is all you need to know about the rankings. The rankings are ridiculous. |
| Let's see how things look at year end before we declare the ISL to be dead. |
Dont tell the poster above — he/she thinks they are legit. |
| Visi beat McDonogh last year and McDonough finished #1. Nice try, though. |
