Good job recognizing it. Love that you run. I did 3.5mi on Friday. Super active Saturday. Medium on Sunday, worse today.

I’m packing for a trip, so it’s keeping me busy.

Good job Alexandra!
Love yogurt ideas. One of my favorite no sugar (well…fruit friendly) is oranges with cinnamon in green yogurt. Alternatively cantaloupe with or without the cinnamon.

Do you both count fruit as sugar? For me right now, I do not count it against myself.

I focus on added sugar, not naturally occurring sugar in milk or fruit. I fell down big time today. Got thrown off by several things—big emotions at work and sugar cereal in the house. Feel like I need to force myself to stay on track tomorrow. Ugh. I need a few good days.

Aww here for you. I did fairly good today. Still feel bummed out for some reason, like I’ll never make progress. But one day at a time.

Same for you. Make sure you don’t pile on any bit of shame about sugar cereal onto your current work stuff.

It was a lesson learned, and we can pick it back up at any moment. For me each meal is a chance to choose better.

I did great yesterday until the end of the day when I had an ice cream sandwich at the drug store waiting for my shoulder meds. But I’ll consider the day ok overall. I am committed to doing well today. I have no stressful things and my family is out. I can do this!

How are you doing Bambam? How’s WW going Alexandra?

Hi guys- I’m trying really hard to stay in my points which leaves basically no room for sugar. I added 1 tsp to my Greek yogurt but that was it for the day. So I feel like I’m eating really healthy which feels amazing. I am eating a ton of fruit because it’s zero points and I hate to waste points on salad dressing or other little splurges used to use to make vegetables more yummy. But that’s dumb - I am going to make sure I eat lots of veggies today regardless of points from a tsp of oil or whatever. I dropped about 4 pounds the first two weeks but the scale hasn’t budged over the last few days but that’s probably normal and I’m trying to not freak out. I probably should not be weighing every day honestly

I’m terribly sick again!! I think it’s flu this time. Tested negative for Covid. Unreal. Fever, cough, high heart rate, bad headache. Barely ate today. So tired of this!

Supposed to travel for work next week.

Alexandra—you are doing phenomenal. I’m so impressed. Weight loss is bumpy but you are on the right track.

Oh Kate I am sorry. I’ve been healthy but my little guy has been sick and sleeping poorly. Makes everything harder. Ate some sugar- had ice cream with my kids. Not a ton but I am still really struggling with having some indulgence in my life. I’m so tired of cooking I think I’d rather splurge on a restaurant meal at this point. Oh well.

The constant drudgery of food prep is awful. I can usually keep it up for 2-3 weeks then it falls apart even though I’m feeling great. I don’t think it’s possible to be on track all the time. So discouraging. Just make each day the best you can.

As for me—Just hoping to feel better today.

Oh my goodness! I’ve been so sick! I hope and pray my 98.3 temperature this morning means my six days of fever has finally broken. Wow. This has been the worst sickness of my life and I don’t know it’s over. My head still pounds. I’ve barely eaten since it began. If this is flu, I beg you, get your shot right now.

How are you both?? I hope better than I am. I expect I’m going to have to eat whatever appeals to me to recover. I have no appetite at all. Doctors appointment today at 11.

Kate that’s terrible! Sounds really nasty. Hope today is better. I have been doing really well with WW and low sugar but the past couple days I have not slept well and I’m struggling. Had. Work event today and I ate a cookie- first significant treat in more than 3 weeks. Other than that I ate fine so it’s not like I feel off the wagon but I guess I want to make sure I don’t start eating treats every day. I’d really like to lose 15 more pounds. Being tired and stressed makes it so much harder though.

Great progress, Alexandra! Good for you. You are on a great path. I’m definitely better. Probably overdid it with a walk outside just now but it’s so beautiful out I could not resist. I can’t say I’ve blown any sugar goals but that’s because I haven’t eaten much in 6 days. I had a smoothie, HB egg, toast with butter and milk. Then baked potato and roast pork. Chickpea soup for dinner. Hopefully will be more interested in vegetables tomorrow but I just need calories at the moment. I was kind of scared at how sick I was. Like moments of I’d rather be dead if this goes on much longer

My appetite has slowly been returning. My doctor said sugar can be helpful so I haven't been tracking that. I've lost about 4 pounds and don't want to maintain that loss. My husband has left town for the next 8 days so I've got to work hard to buy and prepare food for me and our daughter so we don't devolve into chips and takeout. Hoping to get back to some light workouts as well.

How's the WW coming? You must be so glad to weigh in at a lower weight than you began. Hope the kiddos are staying healthy. It's so gorgeous outside! I'm going to get to the grocery store to get some food for the week and then take a late afternoon walk. Cheers!
