| I think they deserve each other, so I’m not team-dump-him. They enjoy the performative nonsense together. Today’s Taco Bell post is a good example. If it were Tyler’s take on the relationship, he woulda filmed it and posted it himself, talking about his woman and her adorable quirks. He never does that. If it were Jen’s take just celebrating Taco Bell Mexican pizza, the footage would be her own photos or videos, probably still with a mention of Tyler. But she needs him to be an Insta-Husband instead. It doesn’t matter if legitimately filmed it to tease her and she decided to use it for content, or if she requested the setup. They are a team for better or worse (emphasis on for worse). They are different but equal in what they bring to the relationship and what they get out of it. Let them have each other. The alternative would be a breakup that results in innocent bystanders potentially finding themselves in dating scenarios with either one of them. Don’t wish that on the world. Jen and Tyler are happy. The happiest best happy ever. Team-Merri-Maker. (Jen-Ler? Hat-and-Ty?) |

This is the answer!!! Oh lord, that video was disgusting!!! I do not want to see nasty chewed up Taco Bell in your mouth piggy Jen! And Tyler, again fails to demonstrate any care or love for “his girlfriend”. He just narrates in his monotone voice. No, “you look so cute”, no “I love you”, no stroke of the hair. The janitor of my building could’ve filmed that video and it wouldn’t have made a difference. Nauseating and embarrassing. As many have said before me, this is the second video in a row where Tyler doesn’t even pretend to give a sh!t. |

Nah. She needs Brandon’s name for either of those. I’m surprised she didn’t switch to Jennifer King after the divorce. Or after Tina changed her name to Hatmaker. Was it ever discussed? Her Hatmaker brand is not only associated with marriage to Brandon and all the family content and church life that came with that and with him, but also her older Bible studies that she’s claimed she wishes she could erase anyway. She sort of can do some erasing if she gives herself a fresh start as Jennifer King. The loyalists will know who she is and follow, and the dropping of Hatmaker might invite others to hear her who would be quick to ignore the Hatmaker name. She is so tight with her family too, King would make sense. |

Maybe that’s the big twist that’s coming: His total-disinterest IS the impressive acting, because in reality he’s SUPER gushy and in love with her but enjoys spurring on the internet naysayers by remaining silent, moody, or just platonically-friendly anytime there’s an opportunity to be documented as engaged with her affection in the least. If that’s the case, he should’ve gotten an Oscar this past weekend. |

| For the ALL caps lady coming to Tyler’s defense: I’ve read studies that the number 1 predictor of relationships failing is whether or not he couple has disdain towards one another. It’s not infidelity, etc. When a couple disdains each other, publicly, it’s time to throw in the towel. After 18 years of marriage, my husband will roll his eyes at me in the middle of an argument. But NEVER in public. NEVER in front of others. If Tyler is rolling his eyes after 1 year? RUN. This relationship is a house of cards. |

| If Jen and Tyler are a “modern” relationship I have never been so happy to be called a “trad” wife (as a previous poster tried to indicate many of us might be on here, in a perjorative way) And the Taco Bell post from today…is just … gross.
