| Chuck Grassley just made him repeat three times that he WOULD in fact recuse himself from any investigation into or prosecution of Hillary and the Clinton Foundation. |

Diane Feinstein asked him about same-sex marriage and abortion. He said that same-sex-marriage is law as decided upon by the supreme court and law is law. He hedged a bit about abortion but again said that it is law.
It really appears that the evangelicals may have been trumped. Idiots. |
| Orrin Hatch currently bloviating. The Feinstein questioning took an interesting turn with the letter from the law professors from every state with a law school stating a lack of confidence in his stance on civil rights. |
Yes, thought that was interesting. He also seemed to suggest that Hyde Amendment funds would remain available to victims of rape and sex trafficking. |
| He seems to be doing a great job. His confirmation will sail right through. |
are you troubled by the prospects of new investigations into HRC or the foundation? |
Except Alaska! ... only because they don't have a law school LOL |
| Tried but got bored and turned it off after a half hour. So s l o w. Will look for a brief summary later. |
Trump proclaimed they would happen in his campaign. I am glad Sessions said he would not participate in any pursuance of such. |
I never had any real objections to Sessions. I think the worst thing to say about him was that he was one of the very first (perhaps the first?) Trump supporters, from the very beginning. Shows questionable judgment. Beyond that, he seems like a qualified candidate. |

It's a witch hunt. It's always been a witch hunt. In 1986, stopping Sessions was a test run for stopping Bork.
Interesting take on what happened in 1986: http://dailycaller.com/2017/01/10/the-star-witness-on-sessions-racism-has-deeply-troubled-history/ |

He actually seems (dare i say it)... likable.

Mixed emotions. She should not be above the law. However, it needs to be over. Hopefully, Obama will pardon her and settle the whole thing. |
Gad. Are you really going to let him try to play the Grandpa card? |
You have to be at least charged with something, if not convicted, in order to be pardoned. Should he pardon you for breathing? |
