Do you get annoyed when DW loads the dishwasher improperly?

Anonymous
Small plates where the big plates go, bowls placed haphazardly, no thinking or care about about organization leaving me to re-do it. It drives me crazy! Am I alone with this problem?
Anonymous
Same here, so I'm the one who loads it almost all the time.

I get annoyed when DH does it even though I appreciate him helping. I fix it and say nothing.

I get annoyed, because I know he could figure it out if he gave a shit. The man is so bright, the only explanation is that he can't be bothered and wants me to do it.

NO ONE in my family loads it correctly except me. We have family visit often and it is the same thing.

It drives me NUTS. I have shown my 8 year old about a million times.

It is not that I am anal it is just common sense, bowls don't face up, that kind of stuff.

honey, is that you? I didn't realize you even know what dcum is.

I get a bit annoyed because I do have to redo it or we'd run the dishwasher twice a day rather than once. I can fit twice as much in it as he can. I don't say anything about it though. He works like a dog and I stay at home so I'm not going to ride him about stupid stuff that doesn't really matter. But I do try to teach my sons so that they'll learn the right way from the beginning.

It drives me crazy how the nanny loads the dishwasher but the more she does it, the less I have to, so mum's the word. She's been with us over a decade.

+1

Has zero to do with intelligence.

My DH never loads the dishwasher. So I don't really care about whether he thinks the job could be done better! In our house, if you criticize the one doing the work, you might just get handed the job yourself...

It's quicker to just do it myself.

+1, except its my DH, not the nanny. i let him do it when he does it, without commentary, even if i have to injure my tongue. the only time i fix it is when he puts the knives (sharp end up) near the front where the 2yo might grab them.

no, doesn't annoy me at all. i'm just happy the dishes are getting done and i don't have to do it.

This! They are still getting washed...

Yes. So much. He hates doing the dishes but I swear he continues to load the dishwasher to annoy me. After 20 years please stop it or learn. It drives me crazy. I always redo it.
